My passion for using fibre and texture in my work led me to experimenting with silk fibres in my felt. The hand dyed colours and delicate fibres along with the often unexpected results of wet felting make these brooches great fun to make and never twice the same. I also love to include a bit of shimmer and shine into my work an have done so here using iridescent fabrics and beads.

Ivy Leaf Brooch Pin Cloak Clasp Shawl Pin
This Ivy Leaf brooch is made with handmade felt using fine merino and silk fibres in shades of pink and lilac. An iridescent glass bead and silver plated wire swirls add a little detail and a sturdy brooch bar is hand stitched on the back.
This is a great pin for keeping a cloak, cardigan or shawl closed at the front as well as for wearing on a lapel, bag or hat.
Brooch measures 8cm long and 8cm across at the widest part.
Brooch comes on an Aileen Clarke Crafts display card in a cellophane sleeve for protection.
Handmade in Scotland.
