I really enjoy seeing the different patterns that emerge when the scarves have been steamed and finally unwrapped. It's fascinating!
PLEASE NOTE: all my silk scarves are dyed individually by hand, so each design is unique and cannot be reproduced. They are not digitally printed or mass-produced by anyone else, so you can be sure your scarf is genuinely handmade and genuinely unique.

Full description
This large, luxurious square silk scarf was hand-dyed in shades of gold, green and red using the shibori technique of folding and clamping. The fabric is pure silk habotai 8 which is a slightly heavier silk that drapes beautifully around the shoulders and has a lovely soft sheen to it.
The scarf measures approx 90cm (35 inches) square.
The silk is dyed using high quality French silk dyes which are steam-fixed for intense colours. I have tried to reproduce the colours in the photos as accurately as possible but there will inevitably be some variation. Actual colours are usually brighter and more intense than they appear in the photos.
The scarf can be gently handwashed in cool water and ironed while still damp to remove any creases.
