We have two old cherry trees in our garden, among others. They have given us and the starlings good harvests of cherries over the years but have gone beyond their best now. Not happy with just burning their logs on our stove, I wanted to enjoy other benefits that the trees could give us. Carving out the wood spirits from within seemed the best way of thanking them.

Full description
Approximately 18cms long by 5cms wide, hand carved from cherry wood and finished with three layers of PVA varnish, hang him up inside or out. Wood spirits are said to bring luck to your garden or house and were originally believed, by Pagans, to live within the tree and were therefore always asked and thanked before the tree was to be felled.
