Grainne is totally unique. Only one has been made and the pattern can never be replicated, even if I tried!
Grainne is made from Precious Metal Clay. This is an amazing material which behaves just like modelling clay, until it is fired in a kiln or with a torch, when it becomes 99.9% pure silver. Grainne was made by shaping the clay then embossing and carving the design onto the face. After firing she was polished with an agate burnisher.
Grainne hangs from an 18-inch silver chain.
