All my hats are one-offs using bespoke wools from USA, Germany, Italy & Japan incorporating hand dyes and self striping yarns. They are all made on the round so there are no seams. The stripes are shown off to their full potential! Unusual colour mixes are my favourites which make them so individual.
I have been making hats for the last 7 years on my return to knitting as these wonderful yarns have been developed.

Full description
Another new design for Autumn 2013. Perfect for mid-season in a luxurious cotton, silk and wool mix. This yarn has striking colour waves which really make a statement.
This design incorporates and eyelet band through which I have threaded strands of the yarn and tied in a bow. This make it great for size flexibility and will fit chidren to medium adult head. Some will fit medium to large also as they are made a bit longer. I have indicated approximate sizing on each colourwave made up. Feel free to make an order with you required size if you don't see the size available here. The yarn has a lovely soft slub and is made from 57% Cotton. 17% Wool, 17% Silk,
It is knitted on the round with a garter sttitch lower band to give a seamless finish.
This colourwave is reds, greens, brown orange and lime.
This size is Medium/Large measuring approx 54cm round and 21cm long.
The threads can easily be pulled tighter for a smaller size.
The wool is sourced from Japan.
