My photographs are inspired by a life long love and explorations of the natural world. I’m especially drawn to the colours, textures, stories and patterns in the nature I find around me. I’m based in Derbyshire and am often roaming the woodland here at dawn and dusk with my camera… But I also spend a lot of time in Northumberland, in the Highlands of Scotland, Wales, fenland marshes and also in Scandinavia (where I’m sometimes found sat in a hide watching bears in the forests…)
I’m very drawn to old and warn photographs, to the work of early wildlife and landscape photographers, to images which capture the relationships between people and the land.

Full description
A 20x17cm print, onto A4 paper, of a still life of faded autumnal Chinese lantern seed heads in the late winter sun. The plants, grown in my garden, are a favourite of mine and inspired many stories when I was young.
The cost is for the print only (no mountboard). The photograph is packaged with cardboard to protect it in the post and is inside a re-sealable cellophane wrapping bag
Copyright remains with myself, the artist and is not transferred through sale of the print.
The photograph is printed to order on archive quality paper, with a small white border left for ease of mounting.
The watermark is of course removed in the print you receive. All images are signed and labelled by me on the reverse.
