This Shakespeare collection of purses and notebooks was inspired by the fact that I live close to Stratford upon Avon, the home of William Shakespeare.

This handmade notebook has been made using natural linen fabric. It forms part of my Shakespeare collection which includes several notebooks and purses.
I have embellished the front of the notebook with a picture of Juliet from the play “Romeo and Juliet” by William Shakespeare. I have added some cream crochet lace. The notebook has seven signatures that have been stitched using natural hemp twine. Please note there are irregularities with this notebook the cutting and folding of the paper is not perfectly flush. On the back of the notebook I have appliquéd a quote from the play.
This unusual and unique handmade notebook would make lovely gift for someone special.

Notebook is A6 size 11.5cm (4.5ins) wide and 15.5cm (6ins) long.
100% good quality recycled plain white paper 160gsm, 40 pages
