Full description

An easy knitting pattern for a chunky lace effect beanie with large flower.

It is quick to knit and the lace pattern is just a 4 row repeat, so it's easy to remember and doesn't take too much concentration!. There are plenty of stage by stage photos if you need them.

Instructions are given for both knitting in the round and knitting flat on two needles. Choose whichever is your preferred method.

SIZES: The pattern gives 3 sizes - 3 to 6 years, 6 years to teen, and adult

SKILLS REQUIRED: You need to be able to knit, purl and knit 2 together

YARN: 50-67 grams (80-108 yards) (75-100 metres) chunky weight yarn depending on size knitted

NEEDLES: 5.5mm (US size 9) and 6.5mm (US size 10.5) knitting needles either straight or circular depending on which instructions you wish to follow

TENSION/GAUGE: 14 sts and 19 rows to 10x10cm (4x4”) square in stocking stitch on 6.5mm (US Size 10.5) needles

The pattern includes yarn suggestions and where you can buy them online, both in the US and the UK.

My patterns are written in standard UK and US terms with clear instructions and plenty of pictures to guide you.

I am happy to give email pattern support if you need it.
