This is a PDF pattern for a knitted aviator hat. suitable for either gender. It will be emailed to you within 24 hours of purchase (usually much sooner)
There are three sizes from child to adult and the option to have either simple earflaps or flaps with button fastening chin strap.
Instructions are given for both knitting in the round and knit flat on two needles. Choose whichever method you prefer.
The pattern uses chunky weight yarn.

SIZES: Instructions are given for 3 sizes - child, pre-teen and adult
SKILLS REQUIRED: You need to be able to knit, purl, increase and decrease
YARN: 60-77 grams (97-125 yards) chunky weight yarn
NEEDLES: 6.5mm (US size 10.5) circular or straight needles, depending on which method you choose to knit it.
TENSION/GAUGE: 14sts and 19 rows to 10x10cm (4x4”) square in stocking stitch on 6.5mm (US Size 10.5) needles
