Harris Tweed is what is says on the tin (or label) and is defined by law as having been "handwoven by the islanders at their homes in the Outer Hebrides, made from pure virgin wool dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides".
Harris Tweed is more than a fabric, it is a way of life, a means for islanders to support themselves in a fragile economy and a connection to generations past, present and future.

Harris Tweed in co-ordinating blues and navy have been sewn together in a radial patchwork design and embellished with a frilly ribbon and lovely button in order to create this eye-catching design.

The hearts are backed in an unbleached calico, and the important Orb label is also featured on the back.
