Prior to knitting any collection, such as this one, I create a series of mood boards which include the yarns, images, colours and textures I am interested in conveying through my designs. I spent many months taking photographs and researching the current trends before moving onto creating a series of designs and fashion drawings from which I knit my garments.
I knit my garments on an industrial fine gauge machine which produces professional, quality fabrics. I then press, cut and sew these garments using a series of patterns. I am therefore able to alter the length of a garment, sleeve lengths and neck lines to meet a customer’s specific needs.
All of the garments and scarves in this collection are inspired by the natural elements: earth, water, air and fire.
