Harris Tweed is what is says on the tin (or label) and is defined by law as having been "handwoven by the islanders at their homes in the Outer Hebrides, made from pure virgin wool dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides".
Harris Tweed is more than a fabric, it is a way of life, a means for islanders to support themselves in a fragile economy and a connection to generations past, present and future.

Perfect for a wedding, special occasion or "just because", this lovebird clutch bag is made from a gorgeous lilac and blue herringbone Harris Tweed with a lovely vintage style floral cotton lining. It's handy size will hold your phone, keys and a small purse along with one or two other necessities!
The lovebird purse frame is so cute and unusual that I let it speak for itself with the very natural addition of Harris Tweed, which suited it perfectly. The Orb label has a gathered ribbon sewn in behind to make it pretty and create a softer focal point for the main body of the bag.
The frame is of an excellent quality, and the detailing on the birds is exquisite, from the shading to the little eyes and feathers to bring them to life!
