This item began as a paper mobile when my girls were little. Then I demonstrated it at our church young wives group. Then I first sold a mobile on Etsy (before I discovered Folksy). Then I realised to make bunting would overcome a lot of the problems balancing the mobile. And then I sold a lot more on Folksy and at church fairs. Then I thought it would be even better in felt - and here it is! And my girls are all grown up and want one in their own homes!
Every year I adapt the detail slightly - this year I have enjoyed hand embroidery - and used it for everything - from blanket stitch around the figures to chain stitch embellishment on the kings robes.

Full description
Eight little felt figures (11cm high) from the traditional nativity story form a colourful string of bunting (86cm) to display at Christmas time. Lightly padded with polyester wadding and with hand embroidered detail, each character can be easily identified - an angel, 2 shepherds, Mary, Joseph and 3 wise men. Total ribbon length is approx 145 cm.
Embroidered detail may vary slightly from that in the photographs as each figure is individually made.
Your bunting will be posted by first class Royal Mail.
