Full description
This Beech bowl has been made from an old tree that came down in strong winds and has a beautiful grain pattern with small flecks of spalting inside and out. It is perfect for food use and would make an ideal side salad bowl but would look equally good on display in any room of the home
After turning, the bowl has been sanded smooth and finished with multiple treatments of food safe mineral oil.
To care for the bowl, wash in mild soapy water and dry with a soft cloth. If the wood becomes dry it can be re-nourished with vegetable or olive oil.
