Full description
This is a fabulous top quality spinning wheel that I have restored and am now making available for sale. It spins like a dream and has a very well balanced wheel. Perfect for a beginner or a more accomplished spinner. It is beautifully compact,so ideal for those with limited space. Another great feature is the large orifice which is a real asset if you want to make a range of yarn thicknesses or experiment with art yarns. "Wee Peggy" wheels are still produced by Ashford and so its easy to get spare parts, extra bobbins etc. This one was supplied through Frank Herring as shown in the plaque. They retail at £485 new.
Ratios: 1:5.3 and 1:7.5
3 bobbins included
Double drive
Single treadle
Onboard lazy Kate and yarn threader
N.B. this is a used item that has been restored to full working use. It is in excellent condition but does have some light scratches, marks etc. indicative of its age.
This is a heavy item so if you prefer to collect in person I am happy to refund that part of the postage. If you live too far away I am happy to arrange a courier to deliver it to you. I have quoted £20 for this service.
