Vintage Victorian Rocking Horses
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Customers may wish to visit to discuss the making of a Rocking Horse. Customers may wish to collect the horse themselves from my workshop, or I will be more than pleased to personally deliver after completion. Everything is open for discussion
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Made to order, hand crafted Small Victorian 'Heirloom' Rocking Horse.
Suitable for ages 4 to 10 years old.
2 Feet, 8 Inches Tall
2 Feet, 8 Inches Long
6 Inches Wide
Prices are negotiable and dependent on choice of wood for larger sizes of Rocking Horses (e.g., Medium - circa £2000, or Large - circa £2500).
As a member of the Guild of Rocking Horse Makers, I will be more than please to discuss custom crafting this Victorian Style Rocking Horse in a variety of woods as per customer requirements (e.g., Oak, Walnut, Poplar, Sepele, etc.).
Real Horsehair is used for the Mane and Tail and all leatherwork (i.e., Saddle and Tack) is undertaken by me.
Note: While the Horse is being constructed, the customer is invited to write a special secret message addressed to the person they are gifting the Rocking horse to (e.g., Daughter, Son, Grand Daughter, Grand Son, etc.). The message is then secreted into the core of the Horse while it is being crafted, never more to be seen or read, unless the Rocking Horse is broken open, which hopefully will never happen. Each Rocking Horse is designed to be handed down to become a true Family Heirloom.
