This high quality giclee print is of a screenprinted artwork by Leeds based illustrator Simon Lewis. The Leeds Library is an amazing public building dating from 1808. Some of the details that decorate the insides are incredible, and in this image I’ve chosen the staircase which feature detailed mosaics, stone carvings and intricate stained glass windows. This is a 4 colour screenprint, based on a lunchtime sketch from the opposite staircase.
Print size is 20x28cm approx on 30x40cm paper to fit into standard 30x40cm frames.
This is a giclee print, ie a high quality digital inkjet print. The original image was screenprinted by hand, if you are interested in purchasing a limited edition screenprint please contact me.
It’s printed onto 310gsm acid free matte archival paper. Digital giclée prints can last over 100 years under optimum conditions.
