This high quality giclee print is of a screenprinted artwork by Leeds based illustrator Simon Lewis. Merrion House was built in the 1970s and is now Leeds City Council offices. I used to go past this everyday to work, and although not a particularly pretty building, I like the straight lines, the boldness of it and the lack of any decorative features. This is a 3 colour screenprint, each colour derived from a detailed drawing to give a vibrant overall image.
Print size is 31x22cm approx on 30x40cm paper to fit into standard 30x40cm frames.
This is a giclee print, ie a high quality digital inkjet print. The original image was screenprinted by hand, if you are interested in purchasing a limited edition screenprint please contact me.
It’s printed onto 310gsm acid free matte archival paper. Digital giclée prints can last over 100 years under optimum conditions.
All prints are signed by the artist. Copyright of the image remains to the artist Simon Lewis
The print is sold unframed in a board backed cellophane bag.

I enjoy drawing buildings, these end up being ones I walk past often enough in Leeds that I end up appreciating certain qualities about them.
