Full description
This notebook has been made from the front and back covers of a well-loved, rescued children’s book, Bimbo 1986. This book has obviously been treasured by the little girl who owned it and the cover may show some small signs of use – this makes it all the more charming.
SPECIAL PRICE - The journal has been hand-sewn using a coptic stitch. I made this journal in my early days of bookbinding and used a strong but thin linen thread to sew it - I now prefer a thicker thread as it gives a more defined stitch on the notebook and tighter sewing - so we're selling this journal at a very special low price!
This book is a perfect mix of nostalgia and practicality! It would make a lovely gift for someone who loved this book when they were a child – or for yourself!
The notebook has 40 sheets (80 sides) of blank white eco-friendly paper. This paper is not suitable for use with ink cartridge pens.
Please note that the covers of this notebook do show signs that it has been used. We think this enhances its beauty!
