From when I was a tot I loved making. I always knew I wanted to combine art with having my own business, as it is the only thing I have ever been truly passionate about.

So, at 20 years old I embarked on creating prototype magazine, with the goal of helping to promote artists, designers, makers and indie shop owners, in my eyes they are the ones who work their socks off and deserve the recognition.

Now two years on since the prototype story began, we have successfully gained support from The Prince's Trust, have over 10 stockists UK wide and sell at events throughout the UK.

The magazine is full of all that will inspire your own artwork or develop your creativity.

Each issue is filled with inspiring artwork and interviews with those practising the creative arts.

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

‘A feeling of great liking for something wonderful and unusual.’ - Welcome to the ENCHANTMENT issue.

What do you find enchanting? Is it hallucinating, magical, a dream world, fairy tale or your place of calm or escape? prototype magazine has explored your creative interpretations of enchantment throughout this issue.

We meet talented photographer Katie Eleanor who features on the cover – an enchanting being and she has us charmed. The beautiful voice of Emily Lawson made our ears prick up, and our mouths twitch into a smile; we fell head over heels for Erin Case’s mixed media collages and Maria Montiel shares her fondest memories of the place she finds most enchanting.

prototype magazine hopes that this issue will take you on an enchanting journey, challenge your current feelings of enchantment and add some mystery into your creativity.

So, to begin this issue with a Once Upon A Time…

Designed by Laura Allen in Stoke-on-trent, staffordshire
