This is quite an unusal one off bead with a definite beach feel! Ideal either for putting straight onto a cord or chain as a pendant or choker, or adding to your own beaded creations as a focal bead.
The overall shape is of a small twisted shell in optically very clear Borosilicate glass (Pyrex is a brand name of borosilicate glass). Inside I have used 'Northstar' colours to make a tiny anemone spiral of dark colbalt blue and orange-white translucent tentacles. I've even put a little twist on the end of the loop.
Just a touch over 39mm from tip to top, and at the fattest part just under 17mm.
If you'd like me to add a cord please convo me with lengths as I can add some high quality black Greek leather cord with 925 silver findings for around £3.50 extra if you'd like it 'ready to wear.' Otherwise this would be ideal to add to your own creations as a focal bead.
This is made by lampworking, hot glass is melted directly in a super hot flame, and everything is done by me, by hand and then annealed for strength in a digitally controlled kiln.
