Full description
Such a sculptural hairband / aliceband made out of an old hat and an old leather bag! The salmon pink straw has been cut so it cups the back of the head on one side and then curls up the other. The clear aliceband has been wrapped in gorgeous gold snake skin patterned leather which also decorates the outside and inside of the piece.
An incredibly different three dimensional piece and so easy to wear!
Handmade and totally original. No two of my headresses are the same so you are guaranteed a totally unique headdress.
This piece is made so that the 'cupped' side is worn on the right side of the head.
Detail size:12cm (from front to the back of the head) x 5cm tall from top of hairband
My headdresses are made from secondhand/vintage and/or recycled items apart from the hairbands, combs or the sinamay discs they sit on.
Please don't hesitate to ask me if you would like me to make something made to order...or if you would like a similar headdress but with a hair band or to sit on the other side of the head, etc etc!
