I wanted to design a really easy kit for beginner knitters which produced something other than the ubiquitous scarf! The kit is simple with no shaping and small enough that it doesn't take long to finish it. I would love a little Teddy like this and I'm sure other people would too. The yarn is gorgeously soft, which makes Teddy really cuddly.

An adorable little Teddy knitted in luxurious supersoft British Bluefaced Leicester yarn.
The Teddy is really easy to knit, using just knit stitch with no tricky shaping. This makes him an easy knit for beginner knitters or children who would like to learn to knit.
He measures 18cm tall and so is a perfect size for a baby, small child or as a mascot for an older child of any age.
The kit contains luxurious Erika Knight British Blue yarn, fleece stuffing, bamboo knitting needles, beads, ribbon and the pattern - everything you need to make Ted except scissors and sewing up needles.
In addition, the kit is packaged in a lovely recyclable board tube, which can be decorated afterwards to make a knitting needle container, pencil pot or home for Teddy!
