Bumblebees are so evocative of an English summer's day. I have an English Lavender bush in the garden which is flowering at the moment and attracting all sorts of bees and butterflies. What better than to sit in the garden in the sun with a chilled glass of wine and listen to the lazy droning of these good natured creatures.

Full description
This beautiful bee is native to the west and north of Britain so, unfortunately, doesn't visit my garden in Kent. I couldn't resist painting her though. Sadly this bee is declining throughout their range, possibly through climate change, as they are adapted to living at higher altitudes.
The painting is A5 size (210mm x 148mm).
This painting is un-mounted so that you can choose mounts and frames to suit your preference and decor. I can arrange for items to be professionally mounted at extra cost. Please contact me prior to purchase for details.
