I'm really influenced by Victorian trinket boxes. Especially the decorative nature of them. Also the idea that they may contain a tiny secret inside.

Full description
Fabric hand sewn box made by me. I have sewn prints of some of my tiny cat portraits onto three sides, white cat, ginger cat, yellow cat. Then decorated the box with beads, sequins and embroidered flowers and swirls. The bird on top is painted onto the fabric. The lid is not attached to the box and can be removed. Nice for small pieces of jewellery or little keepsakes. It measures 4cm x 4cm and is about 8cm in height with the blue bird. For the inside I have used a floral purplish fabric.
