Full description
A small hand sewn cushion. I decided to make this a little tribute to Jane Austin and her novels. I have sewn images of Pemberley , tea drinking and an ornate bird onto the surface. Also decorated with embroidered flowers and hand painted birds. I have also included a print of one of my miniature portraits, this is stitched into the middle, topped off with beads and sequins. I have painted tiny bluebirds onto the fabric on the back. The cushion is lightly stuffed i didn't want to over fill it as I wanted the images to be easily seen. The cushion measures 12cm x 12cm approx. Stuffed with ordinary stuffing and some lavender.
