It would be lovely in a Chinese or Oriental themed room in your Dolls House or would be suitable for a hallway. Chinese furnishings were much sought after in Britain from the beginning of the 19th Century. Lacquered furniture and ceramic ginger jars would have completed the picture.
It would also make an excellent wall hanging in a more modern doll's house.
The dragon clutches a pearl in each claw, which are symbols of his guardianship of the moon. The Chinese dragon represents the union of celestial and earthly sources.

Dolls' house rug Chinese Dragon in Blue on a cream background.
One 12th scale hand stiched Dollhouse rug or small carpet, measuring 5 & 7/8ths inches by 4.25 inches (15 cm x 10.75 cm).
A miniature 1/12th Scale doll's house carpet based on a design by Sue Hawkins.
It is all hand stitched on 22 holes per inch canvas using DMC cotton embroidery threads using tapestry stitch (tent stitch).
There are just over 12,000 individual stitches and it took me approximately 25 hours to complete the carpet.
The back of carpet has been neatened by woven fusible interfacing.

All the other items shown in the pictures are just to give an idea of scale and how it would look in your own doll's house, they are NOT included in the purchase price.
Spot clean only.
For shipping it will be carefully wrapped in tissue paper and cellophane and placed between two cardboard sheets for protection and finally placed in a padded jiffy bag.
Free shipping to United Kingdom addresses. It will be sent by Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For mail.
To overseas addresses it will be shipped by Royal Mail 1st Class International Signed For and you will receive a Tracking Number.
