This fabulous upcycled notebook has been made from the front and back covers of a very well-loved, rescued Lion Annual from 1955. The journal’s covers show signs that this book was a much treasured item which makes it all the more charming.
This would make a great gift for someone who loves to keep a journal or sketchbook. It would make a fabulous gift for someone who loved this annual as a child or who was born in 1955!
The notebook has 40 sheets of blank white eco-friendly cartridge paper (80 sides). The cartridge paper is lovely and thick (100gsm) and is suitable for use with ink pens. We have also included a few pages from the original book. Please bear in mind that the annual was written in less politically correct times....
The journal is spiral bound with red brass wires.
Please note that the covers of this notebook do show signs that the Annual has been very well-used. We think this enhances its beauty!
