Full description
The fabric I have used for this handmade pencil case and sketchbook is a100% cotton fabric. It has lots of sweet elephants printed in pink and green on a white background. The designer of the fabric is Stof and it is called “Play with me”.
The sketchbook has seven signatures which I have hand stitched together using pink hemp twine. The spine has been left exposed because I think it is a nice feature. There are irregularities with this unique handmade sketchbook, the cutting and folding of the paper is not perfectly flush.
The pencil case has a white zip closure, has been interfaced with fusible fleece and lined with heavy weight calico fabric. On the front I have appliquéd the word “Pencils” and added some burgundy velvet ribbon and lace trim with five red buttons with white spots. It has a self fabric zip pull.
A FREE set of twelve coloured pencils is included with the purchase.
The price listed is for the sketchbook and pencil case. They are not available to be purchased individually. The set would make an ideal gift.
Measurements:
The sketchbook is A5 15.5cm (6.25ins) wide x 22.5cm (9ins) long.
It has 40 pages of 160gsm high quality drawing cartridge paper.
The pencil case is 21.5cm (8.5ins) wide x 12.5cm (5ins) deep.
All sizes are approximate.
