I reluctantly cut up a pair of checked tweed trousers for this bag, that i really liked but never wore, (and look much better as a bag!) The trousers had a lovely back pocket that i have incorporated into the back of the bag. The lining is a gorgeous vintage style printed cotton, of which i only bought a small piece and wish i'd bought more. It works really well with the tweed to give quirky retro English country feel to the bag.

Full description
Retro style checked tweed cross body bag, upcycled from a pair trousers, with pocket detail at the back, pink, bronze and gold buttons, and brass fastenings.
Item is fully lined with vintage style printed bird cotton fabric. Within the lining it has a phone pocket, and a zipped inside pocket measuring 14cm, to fit small items, and has a 'vicky davison handmade' label.
Fabric is suitable for machine washing but would recommend hand washing due to detailing.
The bag is a great size for day to day use, measuring approximately 34cm x 25cm, and the cross body strap measures 108cm.
Locally hand made in Stockton Heath, Warrington.
