I was inspired by similar milk jug covers that were handed down from my granny to my mum, but I wanted to update this traditional item with a more contemporary look and colour scheme.

Protect your drink from bugs in the garden this summer with this handmade, light green cover. Weighted with stylish pearl effect glass beads, this vibrant lacy doily is suitable for covering drinks glasses, small jugs or bowls. Useful for barbeques, tea parties, or when you are pottering around the garden or catching some sun.
Use one of these doilies to protect your milk jug from flies and the beautiful chrysanthemum design will liven up any tea tray. It's also perfect to cover your jug of cream when serving strawberries, or to keep wasps away from your delicious glass of Pimms!
Made from 100% cotton, these doilies are washable but I would recommend that they are hand washed because of the glass beads.
Whole item measures approximately 16cm across.
Would comfortably fit glass or jug up to 10cm in diameter.
