Last terms topic at my son's school was Chocolate, and yes, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was the book of choice. The two of us went off to the Roald Dahl museum during half term and I came home unable to resist making a Willie Wonka bear based on Quentin Blakes fantastic illustrations for Roald Dahl's brilliant book. This is the result!

Full description
Here is my “Mr Willy Wonka” bear”. From hat to foot he is approx. 40cm. His head and paws are made from fake fur and his body and hat are constructed from felt, with machine-embroidered sweetie and chocolate designs courtesy of Bunnycup Embroidery on his body. His arms and legs are button jointed, his head is jointed with a plastic safety joint, he has plastic eyes and a nose, and he is stuffed with polyester toy filling. He has a spotty ribbon bow tie around his neck.
As he is button jointed he is for decorative purposes only.
