This lovely bunting has been made from a rescued vintage Ladybird Book, ' Tiptoes the Mischievous Kitten', first published in 1949. This garland would be gorgeous for a child's nursery, bedroom or playroom and lovely for a children's party.
This beautiful vintage book - this is a 1970s edition of the book - had been loved so much that the cover was falling off. We rescued these fabulous pictures by P. B. Hickling to make this gorgeous bunting.
The flags of the bunting are pages from the book with fabulous colour illustrations showing the story of Tiptoes the Mischievous Kitten! The pages do show some slight signs of age and pre-loving and we think this adds to its charm! The illustrations are wonderful and the colours are great!
Each flag of bunting measures approximately 6.75 in x 4.25in. The garland is only suitable for viewing from one side and is for indoors use only - unless, of course, the weather is lovely and dry!!!.
This listing is for ONE garland of bunting with 8 flags. The garland you receive may have slightly different flags from those on the photos but will have an equally lovely selection of pictures from the book.

If laid end to end the flags would stretch approximately 2ft 8 in. We have included extra wool so that you can spread out the flags if you wish.
