Here we have a stunning Louis style dining table and six Carved dining chairs - including 2 Carvers - all having been rejuvenated by SwankyTramps! An absolutely top quality set, structurally sound and any minor cosmetic marks prior to the refurb are all in character with it's gorgeous Shabby Chic look!
The table is a lovely, scalloped oval shape with matching skirt and a fabulously carved, bulb shaped, 4 leg pedestal. Very sturdy, beautiful and amply big enough for 6 to enjoy leisurely dining!
The 6 chairs have lovely, carved detail backrests with Cabriole legs. We have reupholstered these in a beautiful Oatmeal, upholstery grade, 100% Linen fabric, with the backs being buttoned and with complimentary Aged Brass stud work
We have hand painted this set with multiple coats of Old English White over French Grey with touches of Green Tea. We have then distressed the whole set to give subtle hints of all the shades and really compliment the Linen fabric. The whole lot has then been treated to 3 coats of top quality wax that gives it a lustrous feel, adds warmth and age to the finish as well as some protection. We have tried our best with the pics but, we can assure you, they most certainly do not do this lovely dining set justice!
