Full description
A lovely circular trinket box with a hinged lid and an offset, intermal recess. The contrast between black Bog Oak and cream coloured Sycamore makes this an elegant, stylish box to house your small treasures. The recess is lined with black cotton velvet, the handle is Ebony and the hinge is solid brass. The box is finished to a high quality and polished with wax furniture polish.
The approximate size is:- 5in diameter 2in height, the recess is 3.5in diameter and 1in deep.
Bog Oak comes from Oak trees that have fallen into a peat bog hundreds (or more) years ago the peat soaking into the wood causes the change in colour.
