Archaeology has always held a fascination for me. I was surrounded by books about it during my childhood because by mother was studying it.

Full description
This necklace harks back to an earlier time when, it is believed, there was a peaceful agrarian culture revering the Female Principle. Another connection to the past is the copper, the first metal humanity would have used as it occurs in workable nuggets. The Mother Goddess is depicted with a sunray necklace and hangs on a string of rough unpolished chunks of charnelian, amber and turquoise to enhance the ancient feeling. The techniques include hammering, repousse and stamping with my own handmade stamps, all handmade including the copper hook and loop fastening. Comes to you in a gift bag with designer logo label. Please contact me for multiple and non-UK postage as rates vary.
