Full description
When Picasso saw primitive tribal art and cave paintings for the first time he loved their simplicity and directness. This piece is inspired by an alabaster mother-goddess figurine, with copper rings, found at a site in Mesopotamia by Professor Malloran, a gentleman who was married to one Agatha Christie! In it's startling simplicity it reminds me of design from the 1960s. Techiniques include hammering and repousse. Strung on a brown woven cotton thong. Comes to you in a gift bag with logo label. Please contact me for multiple or non-UK postage prices as rates vary.
