I wanted to make a tiny piece of Bucks point bobbin lace and designed this motif around a cluster of honeycomb stitches, incorporating a fine silver wire for contrast and rigidity and emphasising the petals of this little flower. Light, unusual and intricate, I love these delicate little earrings. I hope you do too.

Full description
This exquisite pair of earrings features the a tiny flower of purple lace, with the cotton threads intertwined with fine silver wire. This hand-made piece of bobbin lace is mounted on a dome of highly polished recycled sterling silver and finished with a 6mm round amethyst bead.
The earrings have a 1.5 cm diameter and weigh 1.15 grammes each.
