This is a reserved custom order for my customer, Lylabelle. Please do not purchase these birds unless you are this customer. If, however, you would like me to make you custom wedding birds please do get in touch as I would love to help! xx
This stylish couple make an eye-catching pair! The handsome groom wears a kilt in Morrison modern tartan with shades of navy and green with red. In addition he sports a furry sporran cut from faux fur and which he wears from a golden chain made from twisted wool yarn. His black body is made from linen and his wings have decorative visible stitches in green, to mirror the green of the Morrison tartan. At his neck the dapper fellow wears a cravat stitched from a chiffon fabric in a soft ivory shade.
The elegant bride is made from an ivory jacquard fabric with matching eco-felt breast and lace applique wings. Her veil is made from dotty netting in a birdcage style. Around the top of the veil I have added tiny pearl beads for neat finished edge, and positioned to one side is a single flower hand-cut from ivory felt with three pearl beads at it's centre.
Both bride and groom have beaks cut from tan wool felt and black bead eyes on little circles of ivory felt. Each bird is firmly filled with polyester toy filling and made to stand confidently on legs formed from re-purposed copper wire.
This unique birdie couple are made to last and be kept as charming keepsakes from a very special day.
