Inspired by a childhood spent behind the Post Office counter, the Estampe Collection was released June 2013, injecting some colour into British summertime!

Created using recycled stamps, Katie sends these well travelled pieces of history on one last journey.

THIS SALE is for a Scottish Lilac (1958) Estampe necklace, approximately 2cm diametre, with silver plated 18 chain and setting (both lead and nickel free) with glass cabochon.

Growing up the Post Office was a place of mystery, intrigue and sometimes boredom! My father being a Postman and my mother working behind the counter I spent hours of my childhood sat behind the Post Office counter playing with Airmail stickers and trying not to get in the way! I myself have worked for the Post Office several times in my life and currently work part time at Hyson Green Post Office in Nottingham. Something that hasn't changed through the years is a sense of belonging amongst packets and parcels, and the excitement of receiving the latest special edition stamps! This colourful collection reflects my youthful wonder and fascination with such simple yet elegant pieces of paper.
