Full description
Homely, rustic and softly spoken, this charming headdress is muted in colour and lovely in its simplicity. It retains my signature curved feather arch, creating majesty and poise from earthy hues and natural textile.
A crown for a maker - two buttons on either side of the base hold in place streams of ribbons and twinkling stars which catch the light. The base itself is made from a section of woven cotton hand sourced from India, which has been reinforced and carefully attached to a soft backing, surrounded by rich brown trims to bring texture and touchability.
Two lines of carefully applied feathers have been sewn to the base - soft brown goose feathers create a lovely curve, and beautiful burgundy soft hackle adds a splash of earthy vibrance.
Each headdress is limited edition, and carefully made-to-order. Please allow up to three weeks for production, although if you need your item sooner you can get in touch here on Folksy, or email bangbangcrash (at) hotmail.co.uk
