Worthy of the high priestess..... Scale the mountain and shout through the dusk...
Dark and bright, sonorous, and powerful. This headdress harnesses the glory of the world around with feathers, natural fibers, and gemstones.
There are three lines of feathers: jet black, iridescent black and turquoise, and deep, resonant blue. The base of the headdress is detailed embroidered textile, hand selected and brought back from the magical mountains of San Christobal. The band is a strong and graphic hand woven cotton. Mystic quartz and fire polished glass hand sewn gemstones catch the light with iridescent rainbow glimmers.
At either side of the headdress are two handmade soft blue pom poms, set off by the elegant blue beads hanging beneath, and cascading from each side are streams of carefully selected ribbons, and shimmering beaded trims.
This headdress is carefully pieced together and fastidiously sewn for ultimate durability, by me in my Brighton studio. If you have any special requests please get in touch.
I can create this piece with either an elastic closure at the back, or with ribbon ties. If you prefer elastic please provide a head measurement so I can ensure a perfect fit.
Each design is limited edition and made-to-order. Please allow up to three weeks for production, if you do need your item sooner get in touch and I'll see what I can do.
