We love colours and vintage patterns, especially from the 50s, 60s and 70s, so we try to incorporate them as much as we can in our creations. We like to look through antique markets and auctions mainly for little gems of the past, in this way also re-using and recycling materials. This chair has been brought back to life through its colourful upholstery. It will make a very bright and lovely addition to any room.

Full description
This is an original 1950/60s Lloyd Loom chair. These were manufactured in England from the 1920s -an invention of Marshall Burns Lloyd nearly 100 years ago, from whom it gets its name- and made from woven rattan and cane or twisted paper on a steam-bent beech woodframe. It has been fully restored having been repainted in white gloss and the seat upholstery renovated, by replacing the old foam and recovered in a St Michael's vintage fabric (made also in the UK!). This fabric probably dates to the 1960s/70s and it consists of an open weave white cotton with printed Paisley pattern floral motifs in various shades of green and blue.
This is a beautiful example of this classic style of furniture, still very popular nowadays and renowned for its durability and longevity and will look lovely in a girl's room or conservatory.
It measures: 68 (H) x 50 (D) x 57 (W) cm. The height from the seat to the floor is 36 cm.
