I had a go at shirt dresses a while ago for my own daughter's and this was the basic style that I settled on as the circular skirt didn't mean too much bulk around the slight drop waist on the shirt. My girls love their shirt dresses and they have been well and truly tested to ensure that it's still possible to get up to mischief and have fun when wearing them.
This one I've made in this very pretty little yellow flower print. It has a creamy background with the little yellow flowers and the slightly olive green leaf design. I did try both cream and olive green buttons on it but settled on the yellow as they looked the best and sat nicely in with the flowers.
This is machine washable but not suitable for the tumble dryer and it will being cotton need a little iron to bring it back to it's best.
The chest on this dress measures 64cms and the length from the shoulder is 54cms.
