Full description

This is a stained glass suncatcher handmade using the Tiffany copper foil technique.

This is the same design as my sunflower pattern but as this is amber red rather than my usual sunflower yellow this version is better named Gerbera.

The flower is made from bright amber glass in 4 different shades and textures and with pretty little beads in the centre of the petals.

This flower looks really lovely hanging in the window where it shines and catches the light all year round.

It is 4.5 inches in diameter and hangs from a little silvery chain securely attached at the top.

This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass and embellishments such as the beads in the middle.

The 5th photo shows the previous flower I made to this design so you can see that each is unique though to the same pattern.

My suncatchers make super presents and are also really good when hanging in french or conservatory windows to stop the birds flying into the glass.
