This item is a reserved order for my customer, Crinhunt - please do not purchase unless you are this customer - but do please get in touch if you would like me to make you a bespoke birdie xx
This cute little love-heart bird is made from a gorgeous vintage floral cotton in shades of china-blue and white. I have made her heart shaped wings by adding an appliqued top layer of the floral fabric to a white wool felt base. I used the same white wool felt as a contrast breast and added a little hand-cut red felt heart which I have lovingly stitched in place. This little tweet-heart measures just over 4" long and stands just under 4" tall and is firmly plumped with polyester toy filling. She stands happily on legs formed from re-purposed copper wire. Her beak is cut from pale tan eco-felt and she peeks up at you through black beady eyes.
