"summer is coming" embroidered flowers fabric notebook cover with A6 sketchbook.
this applique & embroidered floral notebook is entirely handmade, by me, on a domestic sewing machine.
the stylized flowers are in a bright floral printed fabric as well as coordinating plain cottons in pink and green.
the fabrics are layered and appliqued onto pre-washed calico, the detail and the text is drawn on with free machine embroidery (free motion embroidery).
everything is cut, stitched and handmade, with care, by me, ensuring each notebook cover is unique, well made and securely constructed.
the slipcover is made from heavy weight calico which has been pre-washed several times so it’s soft and should not shrink.
the seams are overlocked and topstitched and the cover is stiffened with vilene.
the calico cover is washable and re-usable, so you can simply replace the sketchbook when it's full – the first book is included. the sketchbooks are manufactured in the UK. they are quality casebound hard cover books, containing 92 pages of 140gsm acid-free, all media cartridge paper. the books themselves measure approx. 15.5cm x 11cm.
if ordering more than one item, any excess postage charges will be refunded via paypal.
