I've used a very pretty ceramic button with summery flowers in blue white and a hint of yellow as the starting point and focus for this necklace. I found it in the V&A shop along with a few other irresistible buttons destined for new jewellery!
It is complimented by semi-precious blue agate dagger shaped beads, blue cats eye beads, pale blue and pale yellow opaque seed beads, square Czech glass beads in dark red with a picasso matt finish, and a simple s shaped fastener.
