I've been making these button hearts for a couple of years now and it's almost addictive... Every day I seem to dream up another colour combination. Hope you like this one!

...never mind the records; my granny's button collection would come with me to the Desert Island.
And what do you do when you love buttons that much? Make button hearts. Carefully stitch the little lovelies onto soft wool-blend felt in a scrummy matching colour. Pop a silver-plated brooch pin on the back and there you have it; the ultimate expression of your devotion.
This is a wonderful combination of colors – teal, shades of sea green and lime, cerise, cherry red, blue, lavender... – inspired by the emerging colours of spring flowers, especially bright anemones and tulips. I've carefully stitched the tiny buttons onto a soft royal blue wool-blend felt to brighten up your coat, pin a scarf or adorn a cardi!
