Full description

This item is ideal for Environmentally conscious people and everybody who cares about healthy live stile. All Ajrakh items are made with natural dyed, block printed by hands, eco friendly pure cotton or silk fabric. Motifs of these designs are traditional yet contemporary

Kindly consider that these colours are extracted from fruits and vegetables. Every scarf or piece of fabric is a sustainable work of art.

The design of fabric have a history since the Mughal Empire in South East Asia. Ajrakh is a name given to a unique form of wood blockprinted shawls and tiles found in Sindh, Pakistan. These shawls display special designs and patterns made using block printing by stamps. Over the years, Ajrakhs have become a symbol of the Sindhi culture and traditions.

You will not find this kind of work any where else since this is done by one of the tribe in the Sindh region of Pakistan. The money earned by selling their work would go back to the artisans to create better standard of living. You can also find more designs and new product range in my website www.Bebondesign.com
